I began to swim.

I saw life ebbing out of me gradually,
little by little.
My smiles curved lesser,
and hope was just a bystander.
Yet I couldn't scream,
I was transfixed like in a dream.
Numb to my own feelings,
Resistant to life's temptations.
The fire in me seemed to dim,
And without an effort, I began to swim.

Where you belong

It is difficult to see your loved one wrecked,
But the path is his to be chosen and trekked.
You can breakdown and cry,
Ask him to see through or at-least try.
But your cry will fall on deaf ears,
As his sense of righteousness has intoxicated him and numbed his fears.

Thats why they say there is no right or wrong,
You are where you think you belong!
